The service at our core datacenter has been restored.

According to the report of our backbone provider the nature of this outage was such that monitoring and network routing believed the equipment was accessible and online, while end user traffic was not reaching it and the servers could not reach each other. During the rebooting of switches and storage to re-establish the core, the datacenter experienced a failure of power routing equipment, which made it challenging to bring equipment back online. The datacenter provider rebuilt power management equipment, and restored service as power availability permitted.

A quick update on our progress: our backbone provider located the reason of the issue. They say they are close to restoring service.
